Using this method and like 12oz of fan leaf and crap bud, at the process of "letting gravity take course" but i am wondering...
The guide seems to say i should have "brown" water. Mine is very green. Where have i gone wrong?
Help appreciated ty.

The trim was barely off the plant, so not dry atall, my extensive (lolgoogle) research told me that didnt matter, so NO very wet i guess.

I dumped 4kg of ice in a big tub and hit it with a drill and mixing bit for like 30 minutes.

I took the ice out and the wet trim, squeezed it best i could then strained the mix into a bucket, through a fine grade sieve. I guess ill just wait and syphon tomorrow, - see how i go from there. Thanks for the post.

This method is so easy its unreal, despite the green water, we simply waited, siphoned off the top water then used a plastic syringe to remove as much water as possible. We then simply scraped/poured the wet gloop onto some cardboard.
We left that to dry for a few hours then formed the stuff into a ball. A few hours later after dabbing it in simple paper towel, and hand rolling it we have a beautiful 4g of prime squidgy black.

Love people who spout some half baked comment/advice then fuck off without an explanation or elaboration.
For my first hash try, I used my bubble bags on the trim from my last grow. I remember reading somewhere that crushed ice is better than cubes because the sharper edges knock the trichomes off more effectively, and it keeps the mix colder. I also read that the best hash is produced from short (15 min) stirs because it knocks off the THC, but minimizes the amount of pulverized plant material in your hash.

I didn't get 4 grams like you, but I was very happy to see the first signs of "sludge" at the end of the process. Felt like a gold prospector panning for gold...LOL!

I've never heard of anyone advise using green plant material to make hash. Next time dry it first. unless you like the taste of chlorophyll. :spew:

I'm gonna go out on a limb here and call bullshit. It tastes like lovely hash. OTHERS have stated plant colour matters not.

I freeze my trim straight away and make hash usually the next day and its fanfuckingtastic. I dont dry it...never did. I dont use the big fans, just the nice resin covered leaves and popcorn nugs.

sorry had to go to work
little chunks grind down real easy and and make a slurpie type mix
the point to using big chunks is that the ice cools the water and the thc falls off when smashed with big chunks of ice hit it
ive done it with small bits and big chunks and in imo i think that big chunks you get far less leaf particals giving you a brown hash
btw go fuck yourself you big pair of stupid clownshoes

iso hash. Extract thc from leave material with rubbing alcohol. Simple add 91% rubbing to material in a jar, cap, shake for 45 seconds, strain, evaporate, scrape the oil. Very small return, but very pure.

The longer you soak it, the more you get, but the worst it taste. Drying some now.

Two things, because you made it while the leaf was fresh IT WILL BE GREEN and the hash will dry with a grayish tint. Second if you MIXED it with the ice TOO MUCH you end up grinding all the leaf to a pulp so you will have leaf in your hash. Next time, dry your leaf real good, dont shred the leaf while mixing just knock it around, and strain it with cheese cloth.
