Guerrilla Grow: How often do I need to water?

Just transplanted at my spot this past weekend. Soil retains water pretty well and I amended with fertilizer and perlite. Surrounding vegetation grows extremely well. The plants were about three weeks old. How will I know when I need to venture out to water them?

Agree bit of a guessing game. Going to need to make a judgment call based on recent and expected weather

Get some gallon jugs of water and poke a pinhole in the bottom, then set them near the plants. They will slowly get water.
You can also grow tomatoes outside and when they need water you should check your hidden plants, kind of like a living water gauge.

As the others said its impossible to know. Its a visual thing. There are some pretty decent ways on youtube to keep the soild moist by either dripping water from a bucket as mentioned above. Perilite will help but your soils going to need more than water. There will be times you need nutrients and towards the end these things drink like water whores at least in my experience. When finishing my autos I usually water them daily anywhere from a 1/2 gal to 1 gal per plant depending on the weather.

Once a week if no rain that week
