Oh and I too picked it out for the quick finish.. I need that more than anything honestly...I have been able to go till mid Oct ..even kinda late with covering them up a few times ..buy I like that early finish. ...I think I'm gonna start breeding early finishers and climitize a few strains and run them for awhile. ..I'd say next year will be the last time I buy seeds...I might buy some if I ever go indoors but that prob it...I want some alien og and the rest is lp labs shit so bad
I can usually run to mid October as well but hate to. That's why I'm excited about the strains from the Northeast. The colas should be ready by mid September and the lower hanging fruit by the end of Sept/Early Oct. Mold resistant as well which is always an issue around here to varying degrees.

Yeah man I don't like letting mine go that long either...too many hunters in the woods then and it's just a headache and stomach churner wondering if it's gonna freeze...I would love to know when Sept hit my gals would be ready every year...

Getting things in order to get my grow on. I've got 14 different strains to work with. I have the pleasure of working with some quick finishing and mold resistant strains from the Northeast of which the names will be recognizable to some around here. I've got 5 Dr. Krippling Incredible Bulk's, 5 Heavyweight Fruit Punch, 3 Dinafem OG Kush, 2 Humboldt Seeds 707 Truthband, 3 Humboldt Seeds Amherst Sour Diesel, 1 Humboldt Seeds Bubbas Gift, 1 Dinafem Critical Jack, and 1 Heavyweight 2 Fast 2 Vast auto. All of the above are femenized. Then on the other side of the coin I'm working with Island Afghani, Sea Dragon, Maniac Crack, Stumbleweed, Getaway Lemon Skunk, and PurplePineberry X Sea Level.

I've got 2 spots picked out in the bush for the feminized seed. I doubt that I pop all of those beans but we will see. The Incredible Bulk and Heavyweight FP will go directly in the ground when they reach approximately 6 inches in height. The other site I will be using 15 gallon smart pots. The quick finishing mold resistant seed from the Northeast will be done in corn fields via 15 gallon smart pots. It's looking like the Corn is going to be put out early this year if the weather does as they are predicting. So if the corn harvest comes a little early I will be able to move those plants. Not sure how many of those I'm going to put out yet.

I'll probably be using Kellog potting soil and most definitely MaxSea for veg and flowering.

This is the landing I spoke of. A creek is just behind me that will provide water the entire grow.

Talking of hso seeds have you see their new strain black d.o.g ?
Apparently its meant to be their quickest flowering strain 48 odd days
No! I havent...that sounds like a keeper right there...I'm def gonna snag a lot of the earliest finishers I can next season and breed them so I can get them to finish quicker than most do... what are the mommies and daddies for that d.o.g.

In my neck of the woods the Spring poses more risk with mushroom hunters tromping through the woods. Bowhunters don't pose near as much risk in the Fall around my particular locations. Hence me not being able to get anything in the ground until mid to late May. The way the weather is shaping up it looks to be an early mushroom season so that will be a plus.
