Guerilla growing?

Hey this is my first year guerilla growing and I have a great spot next to a lake that gets lots of sunlight. I'm pretty sure it has good soil but I'll check again and if not, I'll get some soil and nutes. I want to plant soon as the last frost has just happened but I can't start inside. Can I just put the germinated seeds in the ground? If I can, how would I go about preparing the soil and planting?

I'm kinda doing the same thing. I have no room indoors too start neither my autos or my photos this year. My avatar pic is a south east view of my grow site. I'm using 5 gallon smart pots this year too try them out, I'm just gunna germinate the seeds then stick them into the smart pots and put them directly outside. It has worked for me with good results years past. :weed: good luck too you!

i usually germinate and grow inside until the plants are 18-24" tall and put them out just after last frost date. i plant in the ground not pots. OP, you can put in ground but more variables and slows up the process considerable cause ground is usually still cold. any head start inside is worthwhile. what strain are you planting and what's your latitude? here is US?

I don't know where you are, or the temp of the soil, but there's nothing wrong with your plan, and other suggestions are valid. BUT, if the "lake" has fish, there will be fishermen. I'm a fisherman too, I'd observe and then beat it out of there, I grow my own and have no desire to steal someone's grow, but there are a lot of opportunists. Just something to think about. Then again, I have no experience at guerilla growing, so take my advice with a grain of salt. I'm in California and no longer need to worry.

nothin wrong with what you are doing, except...as the others have said...find a more secluded spot and several more... Plant 4X as many spots as you expect to harvest. You WILL lose some...prolly most...Find a patch of stinging nettle. That offer deterrent/protection and good soil.

and be careful to not beat a path.to your sites..

I am going to be transplanting outdoors pretty soon here with my last clone. She is maybe 14-16inches tall. only place I have to work with is in the woods, very secluded, decent spot except... forest canopy. it is very hard to find a spot that gets direct light a good portion of the day. but I had an Idea last time I was out scouting for a spot to put them near some large thorn bushes to hopefully keep deer and whatever other possible animals away. I found a possible spot right next to a large creek and lots of thorns near it. Anyone think it will work? idk if deer are afraid of thorns hahaha.

I also heard from a local that people around here supposedly put human hair on the ground around their plants to keep animals away? no idea if this actually works anyone ever try it?

If there is not much light, there will be not much weed.

Idk about human hair never tryed that but animal hair such as your dogs hair I have used with good success along with adding a little bit of fox urien that you can buy at most hunting stores. Just put a splash or 2 on trees or bushes around the perimeter of your grow site! Hope I was of some help! Happy growing

I keep them in 1 gallons or less until they are ready to transplant. Not good to start in giant pots there's too much water when it rains and not enough roots to suck it all up. Drainage is a must in guerilla
