Tried to post last nite but the site was down here.

Well as previous posts indicate the plants are puttin on some weight. The branches are so heavy some are twisting and turning downward. I positioned wood in a ripod over the 1 WC red/pink pistils to support the plant since I was having tipping issues.

The HJ is looking good. Most of the buds have red hairs but the calyxs are not swollen and th4e trichs are not that many amber yet so it will continue getting nutes. I have gone back to using 1 tsp of grow/gal and 2 tsp of bloom/gal (so 2 gal of nutes) since as you can see I was getting a lot of yellow.

The WC (all) are putting on weight every week and just looking good.

The JS' are finishing. JS 1 will be starting week 11 next week and I think its ready to give it up.

THe JTR is bringing up the rear and about in week 3 of flowering.

Here is the pics for this week. Hope you enjoy. Bud Porn tomorrow

Row 1: JS 3 and WC white pistils
, JS 3 and WC red/pistils tee pee, WC red/pistils tee pee, WC red/pistils tee pee, WC clone
Row 2: CC, WC clone, WC red/pink, JS 2, JTR
Row 3: All HJ
Row 4: WC red/pistils (preview of bud porn)

I would say 5 1/2-6 ;) when you think they are ready.... give them another week and a half ;)
When I think they are ready I flush for 2 weeks, :blsmoke:

Been trimming the JS 1 up and the JS 2 and 3 buds with caterpillar damage. Found 4 fat rat bastards so bar. I think once they get in the bud the spray wont reach them since the bud is so tight on these indys. Im going to try to keep one caterpillar and see if it will go to butterfly/moth stage so I can see what it looks like. Back to trimming

Oh almost forgot the rest of the bud porn

Row 1: JS 3, JS 1, JTR, WC red/pink, WC red/pink twisting
Row 2: JS 2, WC white

The bastards. I was hitting them in July with the Safer and then started alternating with the Green Light, so far so good. But I'm seeing tons more butterflies than moths now. I always thought the budworms were from moths but I'm not taking any chances with all these butterflies coming through.

This lady is gonna be wicked GT.

Thx Slab and Zman. Yea the caterpillars are really only going after one strain which has really tight dense buds where they can hide out in the interior of the bud where the spray doesnt penetrate. FDD said the scaterpillar causes the damage and then you get bud rot from the moisture. He is so right! A lot of those buds where I found a caterpilolar or one had been there there was bud rot. Where do you get those bug nets? Wonder if a bug zapper will help.

Well I guess no rain has been good for something then. I always thought the rot came from the caterpillar shit molding inside the bud. I know it sucks to just find one but the worst part is cutting it out. Seeing that bud go to waste.

At this point I probably have about 1/3- 1/2 a gal bagie full of mostly rotted nugs. I dried the good bud but because its too early its not very strong but it tastes good and is good to gift out to people who need it.

On the caterpiller thing I think not just one way/application will work. Like Hodge was saying I dont think anything will be 100%. Nets, bug light, spraying, traps. I had an idea on the traps thing. The moths are the ones attacking my plants. They are out at night unless disturbed during the day. If you can catch the moth(s), you can make a pheremone trap DYI style. These work prety well. Then use the spray weekly and a bug zapper.

I grow orchids and I had a caterpillar/moth problem in my greenhouse. It was terrible to watch the flowers and root tips be eaten by these bastards. I would try to kill them with pesticide which doesnt kill the caterpillar then try to kill the caterpillar with BT which doesnt kill the moth. You have to kill both. I am also spraying my yard too.

The insect net may cut down on air movement and light penetration so Im not sure about that method or how much sade it will cause until someone tells me more about it.

Next year when I go to the ground, I will try to do the carport canopy if I can find one. I may have to make one which isnt hard.

Your WC are looking great.
Thx Earl. They have about 4-5 weeks left. The real monster is CC. That bitch is hugh and getting really fat. I had to stake the biggest WC red/pink because it almost fell over. I will be staking the rest of the tall plants and tying up all the branches. Check one of my updates with the branch that is twisting under the cola weight. Even the WC clones are having trouble with the cola weight.

I will be busy tying up the plants and branches so I dont have to worry about the wind or them getting to fat.

Weekly Pic Update tomorrow :bigjoint::weed:

Thx Boomer. I didnt take any pics of JS 1 (whole plant) because it was depressing to see all the buds with rot I had to cut out. There are still alot on the plant that are good. JS 2 and 3 arent as bad, but yea it does suck.

Im setting up my area for trimming and drying so Im ready when the time comes. Also I have been staking the bigger plants and the WC clones since the colas are too heavy for the branches. Too much tipping and twisting. Weekly Update Wednsday is here. I have a little suprise for you guys so stay tuned.
