Hi, Im Ed, and im new to this garden website. I've read and documented a lot of very helpful information on this site. Im set up with a grow tent 3'x3'x5'.5" and my flower tent is 4'3"x 4'3"x 7'. In my grow tent I have set up a CFL lighting, w/ 13 @100 watts(uses 23 watts ea.) 6500K and around 18,200 Lumens total. I have planted in 5 gallon pots, with miracle gro medium. The 4 plants are just about 1 month old from clonning, and look great, color, appearance, strong stalks, and a lot of new growth showing. I'm using schultz 24-8-16 diluted to 1/2 mix. The temp is a steady 78 deg. and the humidity is between 60 to 75 %, and the PH is right on 6.0. I have a 6" clip-on fan for circulation that runs off and on 3 hours a day through a 24 hour period. The tent door stays open to the rest of the room during light hours for CO2 purposes, 18/6. I water when the top 2 to 2 1/2" of the medium is dry. I monitor the plants progress daily and my Question is, Everyone says if you are using CFL lighting, you will be raising your lights daily, because they are only a couple of inches from the plants. IM NOT HAVING THAT PROBLEM. They are growing about an 1/4" a day. The photosynthisis has not changed from day 1. What are my options, and thanks for any suggestions.
