Growth question

OK during veg stage what is the average growth per night on a 18/6 schedule? Now I'm talking once plants are trans planted and you have your babies on a regular routine with nutes and what ever else.
I'm using FFOF soil, FF grow big, big bloom, and earthjuice molasses with a 300watt LED and i'm getting about 1/2" a nite. Is this normal, minimal, or average. Now I am growing LSD which is a short plant along with rocklock, and coletrain. I'm watering every 4 days with nutes every other watering about 20 ounces per plant in smart pots. The light is on a mover with 15 minute intervals meaning the light stops every 15 mins for 15 mins where ever it is? the light is about 9" to 12" above the plants depending on the plant.

How much they grow a night??? In inches?? Do you REALLY expect anyone here to know that?

Well yes, i would think that people would keep track if anything to see how they're doing. And compare notes with others! Think about it! If your say doing the same things as me but adding say some other kind of booster and getting twice the growth as everyone else. Well people want to know what that booster is to increase they're yield also.

Every strain is different. That is much too general a question to get any real answers. Vigorous growth is not the only factor in a successful grow. I have been doing this long enough with the same strain that I know when things are going fast or slow. Some people grow so many different strains that they do not get to really know their phenotype. Sometimes fast growth can be triggered by lights being too far away and the plant is stretching to try and get to the lights. That would be an example of vigorous growth that affects the plant negatively. When the plant stretches it makes for a less compact plant which translates into a stretched out canopy where the buds near the bottom are starved for light and you are not getting the penetration that you want. I hope that helps.

they can grow up to 4 inch in 24 hours but you probley wont see that with a led

I've seen mine grow as much as 4 inches in one day but I'm outside.

I understand all that, that's why i said everything i was using and what strains i was growing. I guess i'm just second guessing my choice in lights thats all. And wondering if i should change and go for 600watt hid or something?
And your right as long as it's a good healthy grow with tasty buds, i should be happy with that. It's my 1st grow and I expect alot from myself that's all!
