Go to the local Library and get a book on Raising worm, by a Dude named Shields. It's fucking awesome. If you top feed the worms,,,, they won't aerate as well. night Crawlers need climate control, will not last in this area(Hell). Sprinkle boric acid around the outside of your farm, ants don't like taking acid.

I'm a horticulturist & run a little garden nursery as my business & have a few earth worm farms.
INDOOR GROWING WITH WORMS
indoor growing is a bad idea unless you want to only keep the plant in a vegetative state running lights 24hrs for more then 6 mouths ...if you grow big plants like your African strains eg. Swazi or Durban poison this can work very well if you have big enough room.
your pots have to be very big so your worms can live happy at the bottom the in the dark

you do not need to water as often only every 4 to 5 days or even longer. ''worm pee'' keeps the soil nice and moist as well as an effective slow release fertilizer.

firstly ...look on the net...find out what worms like to eat as not all organic waste is suitable & some stuff will actually kill off your worm farm.
So if you got big pots in a big room with plants that are going to grow big... ITS IMPORTANT that your plants are BIG.
the bottom leaves at the stem of plants must provide shade on the soil surface of the pot.
Fertilizing is simple... just throw away your organic waste directly with a on top of the soil about 3 inch's away from the stem.
-worms eat a lot.... & its important increase the population of your worms...the more worms u got living in the pot...the more
healthier your plant will become.( the more worms you use... the more organic waste you need to feed them)
~remember...healthy worms = healthy plant
~Earth worm compost/fertilizer will NEVER EVER burn your plant
THERE WILL BE NO NEED TO FERTILIZE THE SOIL WHAT SO EVER AS THE WORMS ARE DOING THIS ALL READY.
after 6 mouths switch to a 12/12 cycle & watch your 100 % pure organic big ass plant produce some big ass bud.
OUTDOOR GROWING
So easy... throw two or three earth worms with some organic waste near the stem of your plant every time you water ...thats it !"!
