The buds on the lower canopy will they fully develop like the ones uptop? Im worried about not enough light getting to them. It was impossible to keep my canopy even.

You are correct I have used T5 and T8's for years

now just for vegging

the truth is very little light reaches the lower regions

for this I trim all the lower laterals, these become clones

and improves venting, less mold risk

to correct this loss use hps/cob/sun for budding

I prefer to keep my leaf tips within 1-2 inches of the tubes

along with a fan ..this shows best effort spent

I also have my rack on a counterweight to raise and lower with ease ..lol

good luck

excess nutes or slight nute burn

as most weed nutes are aimed at hps or 'heavy' light users nute consumption and water are higher

with Flouros the opposite is true

T5/T8's are a gentle volume light, you won't get blinded compared to an hps..lol

so avoid feeding and water so much

lift the pots before watering and think

cut back nutes by 25%

good luck

Hmm general problems would be to keep in mind the distance your T5 lights are from canopy at all times. Since they run less hot than any HID, you can get away with placing them quite a bit closer. Just something to keep in mind because I've seen many of my friends go the T5 route and get sub-par yields simply due to placement!
