growing with mircle grow potting soil....

so like the thread states I am growing in a pot.. final transplant I believe, with miricle grow potting soil... they seem to be doing fine. whats the next step just keep watering checking in on em and lighting 18/6 ? do i need to add nutrients at a certain time and what would I add? how can I tell when I need to change the light timeing to 12/12?

sup man i've also use mg. how old is your plant? when using mg you should just water for the first coupla weeks. i only add ferts to young plants when they get hungry ie leaves getting paler, cotyledons dieing off. also i don't flower them till they are sexually mature but you can go 12/12 anytime to force flowering

everybody bashes miracle grow, ive never had any problems with over fert. But like geetee said only use water for the first 3 weeks or so, then add nutrients.

Its prolly going on about 3 weeks to a month or so.... actually a friend of mine started it and got busted by parents... (hes 30 and still gets "busted" by parents lol) so I am kinda taking in a orphan. I was already thinking about growing and have most of the things needed to start but i was going to go ebb and flow he just went with dirt was cheaper and easier. i have never done this before and have only researched how to hydro... so what fert to use? i hear a lot of good things about fox farms, how to add it? just mix it with the water i feed it? how often just once and let the leaves tell me again?

oh i do have hydro nutes can i use those and mix at the levels on the bottle and just add that to the soil?
