cut a 4" hole on the top. and several 1" holes (like one per side) at the bottom sides.

the hot air will escape through the top, the cool air will go through the bottom sides.

it's called passive ventilation, it works.

if you dont have a fan atleast on the exhaust that idea is gonna be about useless. and i think 80 is fine thats what mine is around and they doin good

quick edit your intake needs to be 2-3 times the outake when passive atleast. if you have a fan on the intake it needs to be as strong as the exhaust so if you fix that it should help some atleast

noooooooo

the intake should be at the bottom!!! flip that mo'focka' you have on top and have it push hot air out

hot air rises naturally, so if you're pushing it down you're just heating the box up more!!!

i think humidity is ok...

also, weed is rather tolerant when it comes to temps and conditions. it's when they fluctuate constantly that the plant suffers.

don't worry too much about humidity, if it's too humid, get a damp-rid sack from the store, those suck humidity out of the air, or a dehumidifier (more expensive). if it's the other way around you can spray some water every couple of hours, that raises humidity...... or get a humidifier, but then again you have a box......

If u have enough intake pushing hot air down, wouldn't that eventually warm the soil? ... And warm soil(not hot) is good, isn't it???

^ i wouldn't recommend because mosquitoes and shit thrive in water..... having stagnant water lying around the house is not really sanitary....

well, if the soil is warm, but it's 100 degrees in the box, no good. 84 degrees is doable in terms of temps, not ideal, but doable....

okay did that and will post in an few hours and let you know how its going.... next i guess is how do i know when its ready to start flowering....

You could essentially flower whenever you want..you could go 12/12 from seed or you could wait and veg till your plant matures and begins to autoflower(start to show if its male or female if grown from seed)..also, Ive heard when your plants internodes begin to grow off set is a sign of a mature plant ready to be flowered.

okay dealing with a clone not sure... it been growing for a month and now i have it been in box for week running 18/6 but next week was thing about switching to 12/12 is that cool and should i us only cool white lights
