Do some searching online for information related to growing tomatoes in the Far North and Extreme Cold. Remember that people have been gardening in very cold climates for thousands of years. There is a lot of information available. Go beyond the MJ forums for general cold climate gardening information and techniques.

Good luck to you. I understand completely the need for cold climate information. I live in the Far North and it gets damn cold here. -40 in winter and snow in June and August is possible.

Be patient and give people a chance.
