Growing vids with different colour strains?

So Ive been watching a few growing vids and every video I watch, the plants looks the same. for example, I havent seen them look like the pictures of the strains, like white widow being whitish with so many crystals or an orange or purple bud. They all look the same and was wondering which part of the growing process do they start looking different?

even when there ready to smoke, they all look the same, and no crystals or anything on them like when you get it.

Ive watched ultimate grow, ready set grow and a few vids on youtube.
have i gone dumb, am i missing something?

colors usually come out in the last two weeks of flower. Most times brought on by lower temps. All the plants in those videos have crystals on them but they are showing how to not what kind of buds they are growing and that is probably why, because obviously those guys know what they are doing ?????

Some of my plants looked different almost immediately. I've got some that look really thin and grow in a more bushy way, some have fat leaves and grow in a single stalk, some even have purple fur on them that peels off (I found out by accident that it comes off).

you can check out alot of grow vidoes , but nothing will give you the experience of growing , like growing !! haha Anytime I can help I will !!!
