Do plants grow faster in veg or flowering stage? Is CFL light better than HPS ? Which is better in Veg? Which Is better in flowering? I have been in veg for over 2 months using cfl, led bulbs, and hps. plants are only about 18 to 20 inches. kinda bushy. I have seen PM on some leaves and am treating with baking soda/water mixture before I switch to flower stage 12/12. What do you think? To short, wait, change all light to cfl. ....What do you suggest

Do some research. We can give you answers and you might still not be able to grow shit. So, why should we waist our time if you don't feel like investing yours.
I don't even understand the question. Are you asking if hps is better then cfl for flower?

Plants grow faster in veg.

CFL's are way worse than HPS.

For vegging you'll want a MH HID and a HPS HID for flowering.

You should also provide us with the following details:

What lights your using and what wattage they are
Your soil and nutrients
How many plants and what strains
Specifics about your grow spacde (i.e. closet, cabinet, grow tent, total dimensions, etc.)

The more we know the more we can actually help.

To be fair though a lot of these questions can be answered through some google fu. Groweedeasy.com helped me out a lot when i first started.

Thanks Vostok will do and Thanks Cyrus420 you answered a lot of my concerns. Just for the record asking questions is part of research. Inquiring of those with knowledge is a show of respect. I do search and research over and over with each grow and all or most on this site have helped greatly.....Thanks everyone

Asking questions is part of research that is true. But would you ask your teacher in class for an answer that could easily be found in your text book?

I'm not trying to be rude my man so let me be straight with you.

Don't listen to 99% of the people on this site, including me! All your questions have most likely been answered already somewhere or a website has the exact info you need. Seriously, go to any thread with a "what's wrong with me plant" and you'll see several different answers to the problem. I haven't followed a lick of advice from most people here and my plants are doing just fine.

Cfl's do fine in veg. Plants need to grow up some before they do well under a metal halide bulb. Hps for flower (12/12). Never hurts to add whatever extra light u have when flowering. Don't be too concerned about the spectrum.

I bought a couple cannabis books on amazon. Answered all my questions. In regard to your question IMO the most explosive growth is the "stretch". When they go into flowering. But enough water and nutrients, the right light, I've gotten 1.5 inches of growth a day in veg stage

Thanks everyone. I ask question and you guys and ladies give me your opinions and thoughts. I compare to what I may have read or watched somewhere else. I go back and research your knowledge and suggestions. Then I take out what appears to be truth and put into application and I learn. Y'all have a wealth of knowledge and what is knowledge if you don't share it? I appreciate all you guys share with me and I think most of you enjoy sharing and teaching...@Cyrus420 I think the teacher would have thought me those answers and where to find them in the book, so I would not have to ask. I would then create a cheat sheet for the other kids....Thanks again everyone
