ok so I am planning ahead for 09 and looking into my first outdoor grow ever. I have been on this website for over a year reading up on everything. OK so I am wanting to grow maybe 1-2 Monsters plants and wanted to know how big of a pot they needed to be in like whats the most amount of room th roots will need?

i just plant in the ground and add a few bags of store bought soil in with the native soil.. about a 50/50 ratio.. then i buy some time release that'll last for about 2 months that way i have time to add w.e flowering fert i want and still beable to flush out the soil.. for a plant that big i would dig a huge hole and buy 5 big bags of soil and mix it in a 3x4 hole to make sure that you have enough room for those roots to grow big.. remember bigger/stronger root system higher yeild..

Why in pots... for a big dog, you'll need a forklift to move'em. Big holes, filled with what Sub'Cool said in the organic section.
