Growing Strawberries dark period.

Hi , I hope its ok to ask about strawberries on here & not weed,lol. I plan on setting up a small area to grow some strawberries indoors under cfl but i was just curious about the dark period, does the dark period need to be completely dark, like weed needs to be?

I was searching goggle but no joy, may be im just using the wrong search words :weed:

sorry if i should have ask this somewhere else as this is about marijuana but i wasn't sure where else to ask & I would prefer to use rollitup forums. lol
