Growing in the The Wardrobe with the OLD Man

my Bruce banner is not showing (barely) any cal mag def, Only the Sour diesel is showing cal mag def, it appears to start as a lyme green color in the leaf rib sorrta areas, making the leaf have 2 tone dark and light green sorrta strips, , then My SD got the spots on top of that,, well the BB kinda had the color change, but doesnt now, and the little ones seem happy (the Gorilla Glue 4 and J1), also the growth spurt resumed on the bigger 2 after a couple of days on the cal mag,, so i like the idea of the domolite lyme,, I will be mixing it into my ffof, I will wait on the organic plant food after transplanting and give them some later,, i am using zero salt type ferts this time around to prevent salt build up and lock out,, only organic stuff this run.
I am going to try and use the big plastic tray i order for a res,, but use it instead to set all the fabric grow bags down inside of it,, Ill have to do some rerouting of the intake hose, and maybe squish it some to make it fit,, seems better than building the tray and using plastic liner, the big tub give me allot of water safety,, its a bit of a squeeze on the farbic bags,, but they will fit, already tested,,

Great idea with those square containers Tims, they really save up a ton of space. I'm going to have to get some as well, they beat the round ones that's for sure.

the Sour Diesel, its the plant on the left, still shows some lyme green in the older leafs, but the new leafs are the correct color, the SD is reaching for the light, so I topped it one last time since its about 5 inches taller than the rest this should slow it a tad while the others catch up , all of them are growing fast now, the color has returned to the J1 , the Gorilla Glue has new leaf sets, the Bruce Banner on the far right always looks a little droopy compared to the others, but its color is good, and bruce is growing new leafs like crazy, Bruce is really a good bush, I am just watching for the box to get filled to a "certain point",, before I flip to 12 12, its almost there,, just a little more veg,, just waiting for it to feel right,

I sure did, looks 101% organic, lots of goodies in there, I need to make an organic soil like that one day. Looks like your clones are lovin' the soil, look at them grow. So basically every time you check on them you see some new growth? :P

No scrogging this time?

yes everytime I open the door now you can see new growth, they are really veggin now,, and the new leaf sets look great,,

Not going to scrog this time, kinda want to grow tall cola tops, its also just trying differant things, just for fun,, you may see me place the scrog frame in the box and hang it from chains, but it wont have the string squares,, Ill just use it to tie tops to later if they need help standing up,, but I have not decided on that yet

thats basicly what I do, and kinda bend some to different areas. Only thing i really need to support is across the door, and the edges. just to keep them for leaning up against the sides, and falling out the door when i open it. the middle kinda supports itself.

yup,, that was the idea crossing my mind, you hit the nail on the head,, I was thinking the scrog frame be nice to have across the door , @fishdeth is doing the same thing this run,, his scrog is in the fridge but he isnt scroggin, just using it for support,,, its nice when things get reused and not wasted

The scrog frame can serve a lot of functions, I'm also not using it as a traditional scrog this time around. I've got a new tent with a relatively new COB light, and still trying to dial in the temps. Its a moving target as the outside air gets colder as we go into winter I've been compensating by turning down my exhaust fan, but it's as low as it can go now. Looks like when it gets even colder I'll be hanging some of the old CFLs (from my first grow) on the scrog frame to add some heat and to a lessor degree some light. It's a good thing because the tent does not have as many contact points for attaching/hanging things as working in a solid walled grow space/room. This is my first run with a tent, still getting used to it.

My wife said she could smell skunk,, dang and i am not even in flower,, top notch strains,, so i did allot of work on the cab today,, more sealing, and weather stripping, also hung the carbon filter,, after I baked it in the oven and recharged it, also did some light sealing on the 4 inch intake hose,, and got some pre work done on the tube that will be my thru the window exhaust,,some pics of the girls outside of the box also
bake the carbon filter at 250 for 30 min after washing it with soap and water in the sink

Well, mine is also sort off a scrog screen, when the colas get tall enough, you want to direct the growth away from the center.
You can tie the plants with garden wire ANYWHERE you want and that will hold their location as in traditional scrog screen.
With my "screen" which is only the front to rear wires of the original config, you CAN move a big ass cola from one location to another by sliding the cola laterally till it dips under the wire then bring it up where you want.

If I were to do a regular scrog, I believe I would still opt for the omnidirectional wires like I have now.
A little more work now, securing the young branches till they pop up thru, but a TON easier later on when you need to rearrange your "field of Nugs" under the light.
