No. UV is goodUnderstood. Should I put green mesh above them to keep them from getting burnt?
Likely water every day, depending depending on where your at the wind will be of more concern. Plenty of 30+ mph days with 50+ gusts. Grasshoppers and rabbits depending on how far out in the country you settle down. With the scorching sun and ~100 degree heat they will just need lots of food and water. A wind break is key!Hi guys, I’ve been growing in Illinois where things are more predictable. I’m moving to New Mexico and am looking for advice on how to beat the low humidity and the heat when growing outdoor?
Plant so they get morning light and shade midday. This is easily accomplished. And temperatures up to 100?
Albuquerque (high desert)New Mexico has a wide variety of growing environments. From desert to mountain sub alpine. More details would definitely help...
Don’t plant long flowering sativas outdoors. I lived there. A long time. Just buy shade cloth and use bamboo to shade them from about 12-3. Make sure they get morning light and as quickly as possible. Use mulch.Albuquerque (high desert)
