hey man...I almost got caught growing when i was in high school. That was years and years ago. I told my parents the plants they found were for a bio project and had my friend rewrite a sophisticated letter I wrote that explained we were growing these plants for further analysis haha. My dad called the school and there was actually a bio teacher doing a similar experiment LOL. Then my mom told me she loved the way they looked and wanted to keep them after the biology experiment was over. I told her sadly we would be forced to dissect the little guys and unfortunately she couldn't grow them out hahaha

Anyway.. ducksfoot looks similar to MJ. Also the Japanese Emperor Maple looks really similar... pic attached: Scientific name - acer palmatum hahaha

if you have a bunch of other things but depending on where you are i would keep then small . and you can kinda hide them behind tomatoes but you cant let it get bigger then them. i would find a place off the beaten path. think of places you have been that are out of the way.

Those maple trees are everywhere in the north west. Pretty much a landscaping staple. I had a girlfriend at one time that had a nice backyard but wasn't that bright. The plants were vegging on the back porch and she let the neighbors come over to mow the lawn. On my way home when she excitedly told me they were mowing the lawn, I asked what she did with the plants. Silence. "God damn it, you mean the plants are on the fucking deck and they are mowing the lawn!!!" Well, when I got there they were still busy and when they went to empty the bag back at their house, I snatched the 4 plants and quickly replaced them with pots with cut branches of Japanese maple. I quickly went back inside and when I looked out they were looking at the pots closely. I went out to thank them for mowing the lawn and to to see their reaction and before I said anything he laughed to himself and said "that's funny, I thought it was something different." We then chatted about shit and he went along his merry way.
The sad part is that the relationship went sour right when they began to flower. They were too big to move so I tried to endure as long as I could. Eventually I couldn't take it any longer and had to sacrifice the plants to get the hell out.:hump::joint:

If anyone is likely to get really close to plant - inches - it's likely that they will recognise what it even if just by smell. You could try planting something taller in size in a few pots and encircling the plant with these. If you have some kind of tree or bush with long branches in the area, you can cut off a few of these and stick them in soil around the outside of pot but you'd need to change them regularly when they wither. This would probably only be ok if it's your garden and you just want shielding from overlooking neighbours. If the garden is someone else's - parents etc - the very fact that you have developed a sudden interest in gardening might rouse suspicions on its own and regardless of any similar looking plant that you place close-by, the plant may give itself away during flowering.

I grow mine in with my grape vines. The secret is just like the stock market, don't get greedy. Grow two or three plants. If you want to grow more don't grow at home or move to Cali and get a prescription.

ya man if your growing a plant with the same leaves as marijuana then people are gonna think its weed too nd just attract unwanted attention a good way to grow in your back yard is in sun flower patch or you could bend and train your plants to grow really low to the ground...

A plant that has similar leaves to a pot plant is not a good idea because then it just looks like more pot plants but if you have a plant with a similar foliage with different shaped leaves like Crazychester said grape vines are good because the leaves just grow together and are similar in color...
