Growing height low?

Hello fellow growers!

I have a question about my first plant.

But first the specs:

Bag seed
(I know it's the worst, i have seeds for Northern lights fem & White widow fem also.)
I want to grow the first one to try if plants thrive on my conditions or what i need to change.

Im at day 10 vegging. No signs of gender yet.

Lights:
For vegging:
300w CFL 6400k prostar.
For Flowering: 600w HPS cooltube setting.

Grow lapse:
18-6

Soil:
Local high quality Coco Coir.

Nutrients: Canna Coco A+B for the moment [3/4 power] (later add cali+mag)

Temps:
29-30 celsius at day (84-86 fahrenheit) 21-22 celsius at night (70-72 fahrenheit)
Temperature is fully controllable because of the heating system in the room.

PH:
Watering solution 6-6,5. Soil about the same.

Also Using:
Humidifier to set the humidity right (without it the RH is 20 [damn northern winters].
But with the humidifier 45% at "day" time.
55% at "night" time.

Adjustable fan 6".

Questions:

So i provided some pictures and my plant seems to grow really really low compared to the other
pictures i've seen on the forum. So i was asking if some PRO could tell me if this kind of growth is normal?
I'm already at 6th node popping up and feels like the plant should be a bit taller.

You could say i'm a bit of a perfectionist at the things i do. So that's why i'm really curious about my little plant.

Any ideas of should i just keep doing what i'm doing or is there some tips or something i should do, topping etc.?

Thanks in advance!

Thanks! I topped today and i'm going to start training tomorrow. Is it normal for the plant to be that low in height?
count nodes, dont worry too much about height, a short plant with a bunch of closely spaced nodes is better than a tall stretched out plant.
and what do you mean by 10 days of veg? are they 10 days from when the seedlings came above ground, or 10 days since you felt the seedling was big enough to transplant?? Pretty much asking how long ago that plant was a seed.
I had 2 males and a herm in this crop, I couldnt see any difference in the plants until the first week of flower when the males exploded compared to the rest.
I let mine grow to 7-8 nodes and top them to 6 and lay it down on its side.

I actually started counting after i transplanted The seedling with First Set of real leaves. If i'd count from the moment they Came above ground It would be day 16. Is that the real way counting veg?

I personally count my veg from the time they get seeded and just say im "x" days from seed when theyre young.
Being at 16 days id say its doing great so far.

I'm using mycorrhiza, a bit mixed to Coco and perlite and some to the hole i transplanted The plant, some It seems to be helping :)

Yes. Also, I’d recommend you considering a 5-7 gallon smart pot instead of a five gallon bucket. Buckets get root bound because they circle the pot. Smart pots “air prune” so the roots grow to the edge then stop. Much healthier root system, healthier plants! You really won’t regret it.

The fact that you are using 6400k light for veg is probably why they stay shorter/bushier.. i heard more blue in the spectrum usually promote shorter internode .. sometimes it is also strain related hard to tell exactly coming from a bagseed.. i did a grow with ww fem from seeds but it can give you an idea if you look at my grow journal in my signature i posted pictures almost everyday.. in terms of RH and temp you seems to be well set up.. just bare in mind when youll switch to hps you will probably notice a lot more heat but you will be using the cool tube it will be a test and learn but something to consider for sure.. looks good so far!

Thanks for all the helpful information @GreenThumbsMcgee @Viceman666 @fragileassassin and @reallybigjesusfreak ! I transplanted the plant to a 6 gallon homemade smart pot with 2x3gallon baskets with holes and some filter fabric 3 layers to 150g thickness (it lets the water, air and nutrients through). i haven't started training on the height yet, just topped it for 2 main colas :D because height of the room is of no issue (8.2 feet). Plant started showing signs of gender but too early to tell still :) Here's some pictures :)

Some of the lower leaves (2 lowest fan leaves) seem a bit dry? temps and rh still on the point, and ph 5.8-6. No bugs or pests.

Appreciate the help in every way, will be posting updates under this post, or should i make a new post for the grow?

I would start a grow journal bro. Follow me and I’ll follow u. It will update your followers and post to grow journals section.
It is helpful to your progression as a green thumber. Nice to look back on progress...

3rd pic looks fem to me. Don’t quote me on it, but males are generally rounder looking and on a stem, where the fems are more like () as opposed to O if that makes sense.

Plants look really good otherwise. Top them again for 4!

I got a plant I’ve got trained for 16 right now just for fun
