Growing for smoking or money?

hi

I have used weed a few times, But I am not a regular user. I am more into making money from it. The problem is I am from India and its illegal to grow and sell in India. any Indian here who is successfully growing and selling it in India or outside India?

Is it too risky? is there a loop hole? is it even profitable?

I belong to a farmer family, so growing plants is like a thing I can do while sleeping. :bigjoint:

I’m going to be brutally honest, if you’re asking an Internet forum questions like that then it’s probably not the business for you. India has strict punishments I’ve googled all about it.

you need to think logically about this - you’re asking us if it’s profitable but if you’re about to grow and sell weed then there’s tons of things you need to think about and know before hand

a) what’s the current market price for weed, and b) what’s the current wholesale price in bulk that dealers are paying?

You also need to think about point c) do you even know any dealers or even people who smoke for personal use that you can sell your product to? If you don’t and have no connections what’s the point? You’ll grow a load of weed and have nobody to sell it to.

Just remember the 3 no’s when growing ; no smell no sell no tell.

Completely agree with you. I was in the same situation as thecrow69 was until I thought, selling weed and then later having to spend money on it to smoke it doesn't make any sense. If I was you I would just pray and wait for legalization and until then learn about this amazing plant while having some really fun times with it by smoking everything myself ahah... but thats just my opinion! Happy 420!!!

Actually We Indians already knew lots of things about this magical plant from childhood. :) Thanks for the advice.

completely agree. Selling it then having to spend money on it doesn’t make sense. Not to mention, growing to sell in a place that’s legal is one thing. Doing it in a place where it’s illegal will lead you down a dark path to an underworld you probably don’t want to be mixed up in. To be able to comfortably grow and sell in an illegal market you need to be properly close and friendly with all sorts of shady people to build a level of trust and reputation within the game.. you need a network to supply to and multiple contacts should one get busted within the chain. You can’t rely on supplying just one person basically. On a large scale grow op you need a way to either launder the money or find ways to spend it without causing suspicion by authorities that you’re leading a luxury life you can’t afford.. because then in court if you got caught you would have to explain where all the money came from for the nice new cars and fancy electrical goods and nice clothes when you earn below the poverty line. You also gotta remember that by becoming a new grower to sell and supply you’re going to be treading on someone else’s toes... someone who is already established - you have to be trusted and well connected to avoid any potential repercussions.. for example, I knew a grower who was selling.. he sold a shit load of weed I’m talking KG’s of the stuff. A lot of rival dealers I knew at the time wernt happy he had come in on the scene but knew he was sound and couldn’t touch him because his brother was one of the biggest cocaine dealers in the area.Ya also need trust. You need to trust that the people you’re selling too wouldn’t rat on you in a heartbeat if they got caught and needed a deal with the feds.

not saying this to put the original poster off selling it. Some people love the game. Some people love the thrill of it all. Some people will happily do the time for selling - and live a life devoted to the game. But it’s not worth it ultimately in my opinion .. id rather not go to jail lol I like my hot dinners and chicken wings, and having a joint and being able to watch Netflix... go out to bars see friends go to work etc ahaha

Trust me, After reading this, I am going to drop my idea :) I would wait until its legal in India. You just saved a guy.
