It is amazing the power you can get out of modern LED's. Heat as in keeping the plants as warms as they can take?
Yea. Ive noticed heat effects how fast they grow dramatically, but also how fast the plant matures and degrades. Its metabolism i guess. Mine seem to like it around 80-85f.

Heat does make the plants transpire more but the bad part of that is the high humidity that creates.
Yeah but its like an engine right? The more light (fuel) we put in the more exhaust is produced (humidity and oxygen). This is worth the extra growth rates of having to use a dehumidifer in my experience.

Often you have to deal with humidity no matter what. I got away from hydroponics because it created so much humidity. Environment is only as good as you can control it. It was easy to deal with in Colorado. Not so much in Louisiana.

Yeah i only have 5 plants right now but they kick out enough humidity to have a 70 pint running a good 10% of the day. Im in dtw hydro and in a more sealed room this time its a new challenge for sure. I was used to venting outside

Drain to waste. Hmm I used the solution until it was weak and changed it or added ferts back for a long time. Got pretty good at it. Even organics creates a good amount of humidity but you are not constantly losing water because of your process.
