Growing First Time! Getting 10 White Widow Seeds

I have never grown before but I have researched quite a bit on how to. This is what I know please tell me if it's off.
First Step Germinate seeds in moist paper towel or sponge
second fill cup with fox-farm grow medium
Have under lighting for 20hours? florescent lighting 3 inches away
After it grows to about 4-5 inches transplant to larger container
Let it grow for 50 days water once a day bottle water with a fertilizer 20-5-5 during the growing stage light 20hours? Harvest 8-9 month?
To initiate the flowering stage cut light to 12 hours light 12 hours dark
Continue to water and fertilize once a day 5-15-15 fertilizer
Flowering for white widow should take about 60 days 8/9 weeks?
Let dry for 1 week
Then????
cut down pull off buds? cut buds off put in plastic bags sealed?

Do not water and fertilize everyday the soil will be far too wet and you will overfertilize your plant and build up a lot of salt residues. You have a lot to learn but at least most of this is right.

I recomend just buying jiffy cubes and starting the seeds in these as the paper towel method is not great for beginers. Do not put the flourescent lighting 3 inches away from seedlings, start it of higher and work it lower so you make sure the plants can deal with the heat and intensity. Good luck and read up more. Way more!

Do the plants really take 8months in the "growing stage" I was thinking about 3 but the seed site says 8 months I thought that was a long ass time. If I germinate the plants indoors then once they are about 5 inches move them outside will the growing time be shorter?

Also can you rotate from indoor to outdoor such as if you want a couple plants indoors ands its an awesome sunny day can you move the plants outdoors temporary then move them back inside. When they are in the growing stage how many hours of light do you give them if they are grown outside u have 12 hours of daylight maybe so wouldn't that automatically put them in the flowering stage?

there is so much more to cannabis that that or any list.

It fails to mention buying new lamps every 9-14 months.
Rewiring your house so you dont burn it down.
Drilling anchors into your ceilking beams thru drywall.
Blocking off any windows with Panda film, thus alerting your neighbors that something fishy is going on.
noisy neighbors and or friends and family
and the very real possibility of going to jail

other than that your list was pretty good.

Read up on the thread here, i veg for 5 weeks and flower for 10 thats it 8 months is far too long. Bugs are brought indoors from outside, you want your indoor grow room free from bugs at all times. Read up and research, add me as a friend and after a lot of reading ask me anything you might be stuck on. Peace and happy reading, may i suggest one site which is 'mandala seeds'. they have a grow guide on the bottom left of their home page so read that to start with, here is the link, just scroll down to the bottom and start with seed guide, soil guide etc then read some threads on here. Peace

Last ? for 2night promise! So there are 3 steps
1)Germination seed pops out 1-2 days 2) seed in soil 20 hours light per day "Veg" 5 weeks
3)Flowering 10 weeks
how do you harvest it when its ready just pull it up and hang upside down? Does a longer Veg give you more THC does a longer flowering give you more THC?

Forget that just follow the threads on here and especially the grows with pics. Takes years to become a good gardener and patience to get there. You will always have a lot of questions when growing weed, get your head in those books and google and grow threads and journals on rollitup. Dont believe the hype, it is a normal plant like all others and is no trick to growing it. Learn to grow a seedling first and only use one seed at a time cause if you plant ten and mess up you will have none. I feel at this point it is about practicing and not yeilding weed. Forget the harvest and learn to grow a seedling. When you have done some research get back to me and i will point you in the right direction and also you have this site to ask fellow growers advice.

First rule to learn is keep it simple, if someone says ground up orange peel in the soil makes for massive buds tell them to do one, a lot of myths get told about growing weed! It is just the right soil, the right watering, the right ferts and light and ventilation. Not much harder, of course you will get a lot of problems but everyone you solve makes you a better gardener! See ya soon.

Also the numbers on fertilizers stand for N P K or nitrogen phosphorous and potassium, the other two important ones are calcium and magnesium, the rest you should not have to worry about very much. Peace

Agree....the only time I got bugs was on my first grow because I keep putting them outside and I had a fan literally blowing bugs from outside into my room. Never, ever bring anything from outdoors into you grow room.

Learn the basics, how to water, when to water, which ferts ,how much ferts, which pot and when to repot, which soil and what is seedling and flowering soil, which light and how far away to keep it, what temps and where to place the thermometer. Keep it simple as you can with all this and also cultivate the top of the soil at every watering. I feel like you will already grow great weed!

I do it a bit fair bit differently, but hey, thats just me :)
Plus I only use organic ferts because I don't like all the chems in the liquids :P

I like bio-bizz and was sold on the organic ferts till i found out a ec/ppm meter wont read them, now i am wondering if i should return back to chemical ferts! Organic ferts always were slow to act and yeilded less but the bud was always so much sweeter, tasted of the earth it grew in! Mmmmm
