Growing bagseed with good intentions

I found like 15 seeds in a sack I got from a dispensary. This is my second grow cycle with these seeds. I am trying to pin down my technique before I grow some premium stuff I have seeds for. I have 2 plants both using different plant training methods. One of them, Adisatu, is being trained by a simple bending method. The other, Hofu, was simply topped. They both actually look very healthy.

Specifics for those interested:
  • I have 1 quart of perlite in about half a bag of Fox Farm Happy Frog.
  • Using a 600W LED light
  • Decent space in tent but shouldn't be a problem with the training methods.
  • Water is hard to pH but it is somewhere between 6.5 to 7.5
  • Using Fox Farm nutes, Big Bloom, Grow Big, and Cal-Mag for veg, Big Bloom, Tiger Bloom, and Cal-Mag for flower
  • 24-0 light cycle
I plan on using a less is more approach to growing these plants. It is now about week 3. Adisatu is actually almost 3 months old but she stopped growing because of stress. Surprisingly I think she is still a female as she is showing the wisps at the junctions. I will just keep her on the schedule of Hofu who is actually 3 weeks old. Suggestions and comments are welcomed.

I'm thinking your light isn't really 600 watts. You may want to upgrade to quantum boards if this is the case.

Otherwise they look healthy.

Its been about 5 days. My plants are still doing well. Im going to try an experimental training method for Adisatu. Also, I wonder if plants use less water when in flower? My plant that is in flower has stopped being watered as much. Interesting... They look quite well. Kind of skimpy. Suggestions would be awesome. I've also started germination of a strain called "good shit". Let's see what happens.

I also switched to 18-6 light cycle since I have a timer now.

I don’t see a plant in flower, but it is recommended to keep the soil slightly dryer during flowering.
But make sure you water thoroughly , that small plant in the big container, not enough roots to suck up that much water.

the pot isnt as big as it seems it actually needs a bigger pot soon.

Bagseed is fine usually. Bit more concern for herms but not theend of the world.
Could find a gem
Good luck

Update. Adisatu has stopped growing in the conventional way and is only growing upwards. I was hoping it would continue to create colas and I could spiral the stem up the tomato cage. Alas, what a dream. They still look healthy but they are growing slower. At least that’s how it seems. Hofu is growing very outward near the bottom. Hope that’s healthy. Also haven’t watered in about a week I think. I will keep track of watering here from now on.

My seedling hasn’t sprouted yet lol. It usually takes longer when using an LED tho so I’m not upset. When Adisatu reaches the second rung of the tomato cage I will switch to flower both her and Hofu.

also I switched to 20/4

Lol haven’t been posting. Harvested Maria, too early of course. Here’s an update. I have what seems like a chronic CalMag problem. I will try to up my dosage but I have no accurate way of measuring the amount I used. I am now growing 4 plants. Adisatu, Hofu, Omo, and Addy. Theyve Been doing fine actually so I haven’t been posting much. ive added molasses to their feed and I gave Hofu sea kelp. i think that messed with the balance in the soil.
