Hi 70sdiver

Thank you so much for this thread!
The fact that you're so detailed on your posts it's helping me a lot mate, nice example of how things could be explained to newbies like me.

All the best and keep going well with those laddies!

Hey 70sdiver. Great thread man! Seems like you know your autos in and out, and i was wondering if u could give me an idea as too how far along i am in my grow? I wanna do things right with the nutes and flush. But seems pretty hard giving a ETA on harvest. Sweet Seeds Big Devil. From what i have read 58days of flower. Im at day 52 now. And i think there might still be 2-3 weeks left. Would sound kinda right given autos take 3weeks of veggin before going into flower?
Thank you. I respekt your work. +rep

ok let's talk about nutrients for a minute.Auto's can be very finicky I have a saying with auto's less is more.I never go over half the recommended feeding schedule for auto's,So what I do as there are no published feeding schedules I can find stricktly for autos is take a standard feeding schedule and try and figure out where in the plants life cycle the feeding chart is relevent. My thinking is that autos really are only vegging for about 3 weeks then they start to flower between week 3 and four on average.I feed very little in the first 3 weeks mostly trying to prevent any stress and feeding the soil more than the plant to try and establish a solid and big root foundation. With out a big root structure we will end up with small plants. Now this isnt always a bad thing as it let's you control the size of your plant. If you have a small grow cab then you can keep them in smaller pots to help keep there size down.I try for maximum size and yield.Thats why after i get sprouts up for a few days they go straight to their final size pot,5 gallon smart pots for me,every transplant will slow your growth and the ultimate size of your plant. Some ppl who try growing autos outdoors are unimpressed with there yields. The key factor here even if their in big pots or straight into the soil is the lighting difference that outdoor plants will recieve. To get the most out of outdoor auto's they need to be growing when your area has the most hours of day light. You can make up for this by planting more plants to offset the smaller yield due to less hours of light per day.I use early spring to do seed runs and later summer for yield runs, that being said I never can get as much yield from them as I can indoors under 24/0 lighting. Here is a typical feeding schedule I use for fox farms nutes.
Start for Seedlings and Vegetation from Week 1 to Week 3- Bush Doctor (1/4 strength?)

End Week 3- Big Bloom and Grow Big at 1/4 strength.

Week 4- Follow the Fox Farms Schedule for start of flower cycle. Feed with Tiger Bloom and Big Bloom. Drop Grow Big from week 3. After 3 days add 1/4 strength of open sesame.

Week 5- Repeat same as week 4. Replace open sesame with beastie bloom

Week 6- repeat week 5

Week 7- Same feeding as week 6 except replace open sesame with Cha Ching.
Week 8 - Same feeding as week 7 at this point you'll have to decide how long you think is left before harvest.Typically on most auto's it will be between 70-75 days.Decide if your doing a 2 week flush of one week .I feed up till about 10 days before harvest then flush with sledge hammer and finish in plain 6.5 ph water.I only do one flush during the grow at week 5 with sledgehammer .
ok so when you said bush doctor for the first week which bush doctor formula fox farm offers three the kangaroots? microbe brew i know i need the sledgehammer im almost sure it would be kangaroots seeing as its the vegetative cycle also i am using a super led light that is compareable to three hps 1000w it has multispectrum for veg and bloom will that be okay for my autoflowers??

I grew some auto ak47xlowryder2 also known as eayryder by joint doctor. I had 5 in 5 gallon pots under a 400 hps, i used miracle grow moisture control. I pulled just over 9 ounces, i never gave them any feed. And never ph my water but the bud was fantastic. Would you recomend using auto ak rather than the cross that i used///?

The title pretty much explains it. Put these 2 girls in 5 gallon buckets about 2 weeks ago and they're doing beautifully. No nutes thus far with thanks to the FF Happy Frog mix I'm using which I lightened it with 4/1 ratio of vermiculite. I topped them both last week and am looking forward to some dank buds in the next 2 months(roughly)

ak-47 is good. Afgan kush is a different high. I like afk for its pain relief. Plus its a good yielder. Sounds like you did great tho.

I split yhe plants about 3 weeks into flower. They out grew my original grow area. Got the tent on amazon for 81.00 its 2x4x5.you sould cram 4 afgan kush ryders in it lol.

These are 2 of my current afgan kush ryders.were about 3 weeks from harvest or so.There in 5 gallon smart pots.I've been trying a new nutrient line called nectur for the gods so far I'm very impressed with this product. It's all organic. As you can see we got very nice bud set, leaves have been holding there nitrogen well tho probably by next week when the buds start there final phase we will see the leaves starting to yellow.I'll keep everyone posted on this new(to me anyways)line of organic nutrients. You can see on the tips I've been pushing the limits on their phospourous.I'm backing off on it a tad to see how they do.

I'm going to be growing some Afgan Ryder Kush and posted a question regarding when to use flowering nutes.
PS Your plants look great and your harvest is one to brag about.
