Growing 98 plants and need to decide on the size of grow building will work.

I'm looking for the most cost effective way to build a building of some sort to house 98 plants. It's a legal grow-op so stealth is not important. Hydro seems like the most efficient method space and time wise. I did want to know what would be the best hydro system for this setup.

There is a guy in my town that professionally builds grow rooms, so that is an option.

I live on Vancouver Island to give you an idea of the climate.

but you should do it in a basement because even if its legal, people might still steal it

shit im thinkin something along the lines of x2 10x10 rooms x4 600w+ 8 100w reptile MVB in each so a total of x8 600w and x16 MVBs then at least x2 600 for veg and a 6 or 8 bulb t5 for propagations and probably another 6x6 room.

then you gonna need ventilation big hood ect. you gonna need some space. this is for about 30-40 plants in each 10x10 SOG 5-10 gal pots.

if cost and simplicity are concerns , NFT is a good system to use for large grows
NFT would require minimum cost and parts compared to many other systems including DWC which would require a lot of air stones
and connecting feed lines and air pumps to grow 98 plants and possibly lots and lots of individual buckets

using NFT this could be done with a single pump and 0 airstones or perhaps 2 or 3 large purpose built systems holding 40 or so plants each

this guy made this outdoor nft system out of scraps minimal cost simple system that will produce very fast high yields

Why 8 100w reptile mvb lights?

So two rooms similar to this one for flower and veg?

pretty much a fan for every 3 lights and one for the filter IMO. x4 4x4 flood table a a main res and a sump res so you can build a wood frame out of 2x4 to hold the plants and tables keeping it below 2ft(saving you head room for plants) and you can run every tray from those 2 res.

they emit UVB enhance quality of the bud, decent spectrum just good bulbs, but hot will need active air in thier area in using them tho, cant really use them unless your exhaust is up to par meaning you got to PUMP air to make good use of them. but really they arent necessary too a large grow i would personally though you could always just use 1000w instead or add some flouro im just an advocate for full spectrum lighting my best yields have always been under full spectrum lighting.

Vancouver Island. Shipping containers. Refrigerated ones cost more but are already insulated. Doors have great cam locking mechanisms. Floors are top grade wood. Easy to plumb and wire from the outside.

320 square feet inside. Weatherproof. Bear proof!!! Almost bullet proof. Think about it. 8' X 40'. 20' ones too.

Good idea, shipping containers did cross my mind. I don't know if they're more economical than just building a simple grow shed.

I've got more than a couple of plants myself. Firstly ur def gonna need some sort of auto watering system, watering 98 plants is time consuming. I personally would perhaps use slabs for this operation. 98 plants huh? So, are u using 4 lights or spacing them out more? Cloning is a must for ease of feeding and SOG. DOn't get a guy in to do it, Im a girl and I even I've done my own.
