No damage. You'll see. In fact a friend did something like this years ago with bagseed and the plants ended up looking great. Took a bread knife and simply cut big plugs with a plant in each. Planted them like big peat plugs. A week later they were hauling ass faster than ever before. Roots aren't as sensitive as people make it out. Face it - they can pry a rock apart if the tip enters a crevice in the rock.
i believe this cause my last grow i i had a skunk in a 3 gallon pot ..tranferred her to an 11 gallon i literally pulled my roots and broke up the rootball before sitting it in its final 11 gallon tote watered and in 48 hours it respected its new home ...i yeilded 5.5 ounces dry off that one plant using cfls... i still have like 5 grams of that left it smokes soooooo dam good

UPDATE WITH PICS!!...2ND WEEK FLOWER everything looks fine the bagseeds are now showing sex ...ive noticed about 8 males so far ..hope i dont have a 100% male turnout ..WHATS THE CHANCES OF THAT??!! i added more lighting on the sides and the tops which now is a total of 1140 actual watts...now i see why the hps lamps are going to be a must in a couple months so i can eliminate all the hanging and 1 million wires ...i also added digital timers instead of those pain in the ass analogs...cant wait to finish this experiment so i can see decide next wether i cross breed purple with skunk and kandy kush or should i take clones from the badseed and practice on scrogging ...but wtbs be back next week with an update...hopefully ill have 90 females by then lol!!! 3RD WEEK FLOWER UPDATE WITH PICS...everything looks good just gotta cut down these balls....and when it comes to bud rot ...i havent seen it yet but i know for sure i snatched one damage plant that was tangled with other roots up a week ago and theres been no problem and i only used superthrive...so so far so good ...seems like all the guys that said doing this would cause my babies to compete for nutrients and kill each other off ...so far thats a lie...lol be back next week with update IMG_20130308_115205.jpgIMG_20130308_115220.jpgIMG_20130308_115314.jpgIMG_20130308_115332.jpg

Keep the humidity lower to help with the lowered incidence %-wise of bud rot... if you have questions about, or aren't controlling your humidity to keep it in acceptable range vs the phase of growth that your plants are in - let us know, we'll do our best to help.
