Growing 1 pound per plant.

How hard is it really? Any advice on how to do it? Ill do dwc or soil. I've scrogged once in dirt but didn't even get a QP, it was under a 400w light. it was my first scrog though, I'm sure i could have did better. I can average about 3-4 ounces a plant easy but anything more seems impossible for me. Any help or advice? Please no rude comments, just friendly advice please that's all I'm asking for. I really want to do less plants and more production instead of the opposite way around. I have about 8k watts at my disposal so anything would be helpful. Also pictures would be nice, thanks!

I'd like to think im pretty experienced and i follow direction well.. lol I've been growing for a few years now. I always grow good dank quality mj its just i always have so many to tend to, id rather have the same amount just with less work/plants. It would be lovely.

1 plant scrog dwc very long veg and a 600 hps with training will get ya pound lol

i just seen ya got 8k watts at ya disposal 8-) do a tree grow google heaths v3 tree grow 72 once 1 plant if i remember correct

DWC yields the biggest plants.

Edit: AS A RULE before I hear every other method that makes DWC suck.

Thanks, ill look into it. and yes i have 8k watts all hps, and i have 4 t5s in my veg room. Usually when i do dwc i only veg 3-4 weeks because they get big as hell very quick, and they still grow the first 2 weeks into flower. usually with soil its a month and a half or until they reach 2-3 feet. then they go into flower. usually with my hydro, im getting 3-4 ounces per plant, with soil im getting 2-3.

I get a lb. under a 600 with LED sides routinely out of 6 to 8 plants. I like variety so I never tried one big plant. But if you commited to growing just one, and are willing to veg. a couple months in a big pot, (10 gal.?) it could be done or get real close.

First and foremost you need the right genetics a very heavy producer...seems like you already have the light so that wouldn't be an issue, you would have to veg for a very long time 2-4 months if there from seed. Example I had four plants and one 600w hps I veged this plant{the one to the left in the pic}for 2 months, her size at the end 3x3x3 and ended up with 10 ounces off of her. If she was in the tent alone with just that 600 watt light I would have easily pulled a pound off her.IMG_20150818_230251.jpg

how big of a scrog should i do? 4x4? 5x5? or 5x5? i just got some new parabolic reflectors id like to try out.

Thanks bud, And yeah i can get a pound off that many as well.. what strains you got going?

I grew out a World of Seeds White Rhino X Mazar in a 5-gallon DWC. I'll argue it can't be frigging potent! Maybe more potent in soil for sure but . . . ..

Holy shit!! Nice! those plants look very lovely, what strains are you growing? im looking to get some new strains. Btw for anyone else that wants to know ill give you guys the list of strains i currently have.

Thats a relief to know, heard that rumor and i was quite hesitant about going back to dwc, I had a white widow in soild and one in dwc and the one in soil came out slightly better but i had amnesia haze in water and that was some really potent smoke, 2 hits and i was stoned.

Thanks, genetics White Widow x Big Bud, promix 50% perlite I was using 7 gallon smart pots I would recommend at least 10 gallons.

if u wanna do scrog with 4 plants and get 22 oz genetics delahaze google the wilma thread and look at the g is stoned sig his list of journals is there he did 4 and never got under 20 oz in a wilma dwc 600 hps 1.2 tent and if u choose tree grows i would use 3 600's in a triangle around the one plant if u can control the heat and have the height u will defo piss all over a pound lol honest just google heaths tree grows and u will find everything u need
