Best advice I can give you if you intend on continuing this nonsense is veg them for a week and flower them so they don't get large. Since its in such a small space id use the most efficient lighting as possible since you cant have any dead giveaways as to what you are doing with a loud fan. a 70 or 100watt HPS will serve you well. lights only make two things.... light and heat. the more efficient they are..... the more light to heat ratio the bulbs going to produce. floros produce more heat per watt than an HPS. PERIOD!!! Your not going to yield jack diddly with flourescents and they make too much heat compared to HID' as they are less efficient. I would also suggest (as i have already) you try a fairly odorless strain. northern lights is perfect. Id invest in some mylar to maximize your lighting. best of luck

yes, i was a bit angry. I`ve had a long and difficult day and logging into my thread to read all that rubbish did nothing to help.

Thanks for coming in with a civil post and a cool attitude. But i did not expect anyone to tell me i`m cool and i don`t disregard the critics. But criticism doesn`t need have to come from a man`s asshole. It`s usually better if it follows the path down from the brain and out the mouth -or in this case, fingertips- . If you have the patience to look back on the thread, you`ll see i don`t insult the ones who put this down and i hardly even insult the ones who insult me. At worst, i sometimes belittle them. The reason i lost my temper is because there`s a difference between "We just don't want you (and your room mate) to get really fucked if something unexpected happens. in life, things tend to happen." and "Growing in a dorm is borderline retarded." or assuming you know what the fuck happens in my country and my dorm and then giving me advice upon that as if you`re the all knowing God of how everything is in the world.

Practices in the united states would place those doing (or planning) what you have in mind as very stupid. Consider my jab at your ego a desire to change your mind, but if it is true your quarters is never visited not even by maintenance then go about your business. The community here is only trying to be helpful. Some are dicks about it, others not so much. Most of us don't wish to see you in a bad spot so try not to let future warning annoy you so much. Just gotta say its not a good idea.

You not gonna be able to grow any good bud in a dorm. I don't know how are you going to explain your energy bill. If you don't get proper lighting, your buds not gonna grow and ull get like an 1/8 or 2 per plant.

Not to mention if you get caught there goes you who tuition which is much more than a ounces... I dont know about your school but mines like 16 grand a semester... not counting housing, books, ect.

Growing good bud takes patients, and effort, which I dont think you'll be able to provide in a dorm no matter how luxury it is...

Also, what are you gonna do about the smell even if the box is stealth. You going to end up spending more money than the ammount of weed is worth your going to grow.

I know you think it will probably be safe but when your in a dorm everyone knows each others business and you run the chance of someone else snitching on you or stealing your shit, ect ect..

There are tooo many risks involved I would say, your better off just getting an apartment or house next semester.

Your better off just buying an ounce and save yourself all the hastle. That being said, I'm in college and growing but I have an apartment off campus and I have proper equipment and the other factors I mentioned.. Goodluck if you attempt it

This is what a really good friend would do and it would start with simple advice not to grow in a dorm. The point made earlier by another about you explaining your electric bill was a good one. Like i've said before....

IF (not saying you will) you get caught most (hopefully all) of us would all agree you have had the proper warnings. If you were growing in an off campus apartment like others suggested, less of us in the community would be worried about you getting caught as where most of us are from... this is a very unwise course of action. But With that said you seem pretty damn confident that wherever you live (outside the US) there is no danger.
