okay, growing under four flourescent lights. the lights are all 20 inches.
it's about 2 months old. we started it outside, but it wasn't getting enough light.
it got fucked up in our garden with bugs so we moved it inside .. we can tell it's female because we can see the little vine type things growing from the internodes.

what should we do next? because we think the growth is pretty sluggish. is there any way we can remedy this and still get something decent from this pretty little piece of mother nature????
we have a white widow growing also and its about 3 weeks.. will open a new thread for that one..

Looks like a lack of light is the culprit, what wattage are those fluorescents and do you know how many lumens they put out? Try to shoot for 8000 lumens per sq ft, or around 70w of fluorescent light per sq ft for good growth. The internode length (distance between one set of leaves on the stem and the next) is big, adding more light should make it start to grow the nodes closer together and give you more budsites. You can also read up on topping plants in the FAQ to help increase the bushy-ness.

It looks healthy it just needs some more lovin'.

Good luck!

2 of them say 120 v 60 hz...

I don't know exactly what that means regarding the wattage,

but the other two, are more powerful, Bigger and wider bulbs.
I don't know anything about them other than that they are sunshine bulbs.
I have the plants as close to the middle, and exposed to as much light as possible. I also occasionally put a 60 watt incandescent in there... the 60 watt incandescent says the same, 120 v 60 hz, so i assume that the two flourescents are 60 watts and the bigger ones would be about 80-100 watts.

plus I have the entire closet lined in a very reflective heat blanket. it's not hot in there, maybe about 80 degrees consistently.

???

it seems to me that it should be enough light no?
