on average, how many plants does it take to get 1 pound of dry bud? i would think about 6 plants would do it...i know it depends on the strain and all so lets say grape ape..

6 plants vegged 5-6 weeks from clone... topped and trained properly.. in 5 gallon buckets... with all your enviormental issues tuned in... under 1000 watts should give u around or a lil over A pound depending on strain.. thats one way of it.. each plant should give 3-4 oz a plant..

Totally depends on conditions under which they are grown and the genetics. Under the right conditions, 6 plants could certainly produce a lb, but there is really no way to predict unless you have experience with method and strain, even then there can always be unforeseen problems.
