Losthespider, The strand is Big Bang and I am growing in a deep water culture (DWC). These girls have about 5 weeks left so I am hoping the growth continues like it has for the first 7 weeks. My goal for next year is to have 4 of these grow boxes so I can do a perpetual sea of green. This was my first grow and has gone pretty good in my humble opinion, however, the next grow I am going to make some changes. Mainly switching from DWC to an eb-n-flow setup. The only real problem I noted with this setup is the water changes (had some heat issues at first but I have made the corrections for that). You have to clean the reservoir, which entails moving the top of the reservoir with the plants on it to another reservoir. This is very stressful to the plants. Once I switch to the eb-n-flow setup the plants will remain untouched as I pull the reservoir for cleaning. I am also considering stepping up my lighting setup from a 150 watt to a 600 watt. I believe with proper fans for cooling I can use the more powerful light and get the heat out.
