Grow tents

Well stealth is a great ideal but or most its never as stealthy as they intended.

Everything makes some noise.

All I can say is if you want stealth then you need a quiet fan, a bigger fan and filter run at lower speed will be quieter than one running at max speed.
Never buy a fan that doesn't provide decibel rating.

In some sense using a quality LED will reduce the total heat which will mean less air exchange needed which will mean less noise overall.

A quality fan and quality filter are important, quality fans wont rattle like cheap ones, quality filter will clean your air properly.

You can buy the quietest products on the market but your air circulation will still make some noise.

Customising an old wardrobe to fit a tent inside can offer some added protection, a grow tent will always look like a grow tent and if anyone sees it they will want to know what it is.

The best thing you can do for stealth is keep your mouth shut and tell nobody.

I use a 39"(W) x 39"(L) x 70"(H) Mars Hydro tent with a Mars Hydro TS 600 LED light setup, a 12 inch oscilatting tent post clip fan (to circulate air at canopy), 4 inch inline fan (which might get upgraded to a 6 inch) with variable fan speed controller connected to a Filter. You'll also want a thermometer/hygrometer combo for the canopy. Depending on your grow medium and your nutrients (unless growing organic) you also want a pH meter and possibly a TDS/EC meter. Also get yourself a good surge protector to keep all your plugs in one place and clean. And depending on your light cycle I would also consider getting a couple of timers...

Don't forget your grow medium...

There's hydro setups, which in my opinion produce great results but are more work to keep up with.
You can grow in soil mediums with proper water retention and aeration.
There is also coco choir... a more forgiving mediun in my opinion.
There is also living/super soils... recipes on here/ and prepackaged like SoHum (just add water) or Natures Living Soil mix...

Then you need to consider what you want to start your clones or seeds in... i personally prefer 4 inch Jiffy Pots as they are easy to place into larger, final pots with my final soil mix... everytime you water the jiffy pot breaks down into the soil.. no transplanting and risking stressing the plants root system.

There are soooo many things to consider. Good luck!

I like the idea of putting a tent into an old wardrobe. seems very sneaky. Also - haha love that last comment - keep mouth shut! seems like very sound advice :)
