Swapped mine for an oz. As for the odor, the carbon filter does its thing as it does, never had a problem with odors. Just a heat issue when the temps are high outside the tent (as in, in the room the tent is in) when the lights are on.
One of the issues is the amount of air you can move out of a tent. If you use too powerful an inline fan to pull out air your tent will suck up and put a lot of strain on the framing. So the way around that is to have an intake fan to pull in air through your ducting from some outside area, but it has to be exactly the same as the vent fan in litres of air per sec because you dont want your tent to bloat out from too much air and not enough extraction, and therefore the odors could leak through the flaps into your room.
But because most of the retail tents of small to medium size only have 100mm vent ports and sortof around about 125mm intake ports, it limits just how much air you can move through the tent which affects temporatures. Whereas if they had 2 x 150mm intakes and 2 x 150mm vents then there would be ample chance to move lots of cold air through when needed, more lights, more lumens, more bud.
