looking to get the biggest bang for my buck just started growing in tent 4x8 what would be the best led setup for that size tent running fox farm feeding schedule with soil just lookin for a little advice been growing indoors and outdoors for years for fun now tryin to get more into it ,now that i have time on my hands

Figure on 30-35 true watts per square foot of high quality LEDs. So You’re going to want 1000 watts or better of actual output from the wall For that 4x8 tent. Don’t be fooled by model numbers or “equivalent to” or “replaces a 1000 watt HPS”. Look at the the amperage draw on the light. Amp x volts = watts.
When it comes LEDs, I find that for a little bit less, you can usually find something that is a whole lot worse. If you’re looking for the best bang for the buck you might consider building your own either from Quantum boards like from https://horticulturelightinggroup.com/. Though I see they are out of stock on a bunch of stuff. Or another option is strips.
