Rather than wasting money on a bunch of new bulbs why don't you just go and get the proper light for that sized tent.

That would be a 400 watt.

Even with an air cooled hood 600 watts is too much for a 3x3x6 tent. That's your problem.

Yeah sure it can be done but you're just making things hard on yourself. Especially with summer approaching, good luck.

If you don't think you can get good results with a 400 watt go check out the double blue dream grow that was recently posted buy a guy in the 400 watt club. Monster buds all over his plants.

Good luck. They have a FAQ section and someone asked...why don't you publish your par ratings. They said "it's not just par that makes a good bulb". I think I saw some guy build a par meter on ICMAG. I'll dig around as well.

I would like to check that link out for sure when you find it. And if memory serves me right the Hortilux info was not from their site. It was a 'Consumers Reports' kinda thing in a horticultural magazine article. I am a stubborn sob so if I have to dig up an old hard drive or magazine I will.:bigjoint: I never realized its kinda like the Holy Grail before. Just assumed and you know where that gets you.....

Sorry to jack your thread Budsinlove......
