Grow tent questions..

Hey guys, i'm looking at the complete grow rooms packages on Monster Gardens http://www.monstergardens.com/grow-room-packages/4-x-4.html?page=shop.product_details&flypage=flypage-vmshopgreen.tpl&product_id=710&category_id=112

A few questions..is that everything i need? i would think one more inline fan..or 2? also, does the ducting running to the light intake air to the light or exhaust it out to the filter? then run more ducting thru the whole in the bottom for air intake?

Looks to be everthing you'll need. You don't need a intake fan. pulling through the inline fan and filter will create passive intake. You'll need a circulating fan or two. That's about it.

And that's hooked up to the light, right? with two circulating fans in there a 1,000w light won't have it to hot?

yes. hopefully not. thats a good size inline fan it comes with.

I'm running a 4x4 Secret Jardin tent with exactly the kind of carbon filter--fan--light--exhaust line that you're talking about. If you check out the first page of my grow, I have a picture of how it's set up!

It's super easy with a 400CFM fan and some ducting. As TWS said, you just need the inline fan and another circulation fan or two! I run a 1000W in my 4x4 with just my 6" can fan and a single circulation fan and my temps are 72-76 with the light on!

That's a good deal BTW. The Quantum ballast is a good one. A 600 will run that 4x4 fine with less heat too.

Yea man, good luck with that. You should run the whole system first for a day or two to make sure it's not too hot and that everything is dialed in. It's a lot easier to fix minor problems when you don't have a bunch of plants in there.

Thanks guys!! i'm just growing 12-12 from seeds..would a 600w be just as good? also, in like 3gallon pots, how many plants can i fit into a 4X4 tent?
