Grow room smell

Hey everybody have been contemplating making a grow room in my basement for awhile now and had some questions.
To start off the room is about 12X12 and is usually around 68 degrees. The room itself is a side room in the cellar. Was just wondering just how powerful the stench from growing is and if there is a way to conceal it.
If the stench problem can be solved/not be an issue the next questions would be how much light/power and fans for about 5-8 plants. Also any suggestions to plants that generally arent as potent stench wise while in growth?

It will not smell that bad till your 2nd week of flowering till the end. But it will be overpowering. I have this and I hope it works for me. Im still veging some purps. I choes this particular perps pheno because it didn't reak like all the others.

bullshit dude, plants stink even wen there in vegging. i had 2 5wk old plants still in vegging stink up my whole house. i got a 3 wk in a closet grow and its already starting to get that skunky smell

Dam wish I could give you a clone of my bagseed strain(does not produce much odor unless disturbed by amazed friends) ... That shit they say that a couple plants smells up the whole house is bull cause I have two plants in flower and barley produce any smell from the cabinet or the room they're in...maybe it depends on strain because the ones I got are bagseed so who knows, If strain determines how potent the smell might be(this is my first female just to let ya'll know), but the plants I have are covered in trichs and are still not producing an intense smell(It does smell..just not the entire house), again maybe its strain or maybe its how many plants you have in your possession?... unless you pinch the plant like my frineds have then it gives a strong stench.. Hey maybe I stumbled upon some strain that doesn't produce much smell during veg or flower.. only until I dry and cure it hope that woud be sweet and it doesnt look bad its just not stanky unless you smell it up close
