Grow Room Set-Up

Guys a little input.

My grow room is 6x4 maybe 6x5 if I remove a built in shelf, what kind of light set would you all recommend?

-Would 2 400w lights be good or should I go 2 600w.

-I already have a 190 CFM inline fan and carbon filter should I get another fan. What would be a good CFM total.

-Lastly, can you all recommend a good light kit/brand at a reasonable price? I do not want to go through the problem of another ballast crapping out on me. This is actually the 2nd time it has happened

If you can control heat get the 600w. If the 190 cfm is a proper inline and not a booster fan it will work for smell. I would get minimum 6 inch for the lights. I wouldn't get a light kit. Just buy the items separately

Good brands of ballasts are lumatek, hydrofarm phantom, soils tek.

Good bulbs are lumatek, digilux, hortilux and ushio.

Reflectors are up to you. I use the hydrofarm active air 6 inch without problems. Also have a 6 inch ventech that works well too.

Hey! do you have cooltube for the light or not? It's worth the price man I tell you! I got a 400w cooltube in a 2x2x5 tent with a 190 cfm inline exhaust + 2 6 inch fan and i kept the temperature at 28c at 6 inch from the light. I'ts 25c at the bottom of the tent. I think you can have 2x 600w if it's cooltube and a good exhaust system ( for the tube and for the room ). But i think you should take a little bit powerfull exhaust fan, like 250cfm, maybe!

I had a 400w lumatek SL digital ballast and it passed away after 8 month of usage for unknown reasons ( As the clerk tell me, maybe it's the super lumen switch that burned the device). I get lucky cause the shop where i buy it change it for free. Now I have a 400w Powe Sun not SL but very good ballast!

I use a 400w Philips MH and a 400w Ushio HPS bulb and they worth the price. Probably they add it in 600w format.
