So, first time switching to hydro. Or better to say, to Aeroponics. I’ve done my grows so far with shity equipment and in bullshit rooms, but still managed to get 1.6g/W. I have done it with love and tender care. For me, growing is not just throwing some seeds and waiting to collect the “fruits”, it’s passion, it’s art, it’s science. I always keep track at my nutes, my light schedule, my watering, ect., do I can compare grows, pick the optimum setting and correct my mistakes in future grows. Anyway, let’s go to the room and the equipment.
The room is 2,7mx1,7m (cca. 8.8x5.5)
The plan is to grow in 2 Amazons 32. SOG system.
So, 64 plants in total.
The light source will be 2x DE 1000W HPS light, each for one Amazon system. The reflectors will be from Airtonek for DE HPS with passive cooling.
I’m still not sure for nutes. Which one’s to use. In the field of price/performance. Any suggestions would be a great help, and if you could argument why, would be awesome.
For the vent system I had double filtered system in mind. One vent with carbon filter purifies the air indoors, and passive cools the lights and one system goes outside normal. The vents are TT150, each capable of 560m3/h, and the carbon filter are capable of 750m3. One TT100 will pull the fresh air from outside and blow the wind so, that the wind is passively moving the plants.
So, this is the basic idea. Any one is welcome to comment and critique.
