Grow room & Ponic help *PICS INCLUDED*

Thanks I have a couple questions:

First one is that i tried to make my own bubbleponics system. This is what it looks like:














I think its like a 50 gal tub. I have a airpump connected to two of those blue strips that create bubbles in fishtanks. I have a water pump that is connected to a piece that divides the water into 6 ways.
I looked everywhere for those netted pots they use in the bubbleponics system but I couldnt find none. So i just have 6 plastic pots. Each pot haves a tube running to it pumping water into like the bubbleponics system.
Another thing i could not find anywhere was hydroton rocks. So the next best thing I could find was this stuff http://www.espoma.com/p_consumer/pdf/products/SoilPerfector.pdf

My grow light is a HTG supply grow light 400 watts... with 50,000 lummens output.

That charlie brown looking plant is a outdoor plant i had growing that i tried to clown but.. I didnt it totally wrong but anyway i have seeds now in my rockwool...

So my big question is ... WILL THIS WORk?
and any suggestions?

It looks like your plants are way stressed out man.

What is the temp in the room? (looks like they could be stressed from too much light or heat?)
Are you using any nutes. (you shouldn't be at this stage.)

Do you have a fan to circulate the air?

Bro, the rocks are too small for roots to force their path through them.
The plant is stressed, too much heat, yet it is stretched to seek the light that is too far away.
And you got to have some grow cups, (net cups) they are only 40 to 60 cents each, from hundreds of Internet grow sites.

You have some re-designing to do.

Thanks... I appreciate it. I thought the rocks were too small but my friend was insisting it was Ok... So I guess im going to have to order some hydroton rocks and some of those grow cups because they are nowhere sold around where I live.. In the mean time ima just use the old fashion soil till I get my ponics supply.. Oh yea the temp in my grow room is 98.. with humidity of about 22%...

Hydroton rocks are as light as a feather and the roots can wiggle thru them easily. They also soak up water and transfer it like a sponge.

And with HID lights, you GOT TO VENT the HEAT out. 98 is way too hot for indoor hydro grow.

Ive been searching the forums for ventilation solutions but im having trouble... Where my grow closet is located . the door needs to be closed all the time.. So Im not sure how to vent this heat out... Whats the temperature I should have my grow room at and what humidity? Wow I was so unprepared
