Grow Room OPTIONS A or B

Ight this is my first grow....and i have my seeds ordered some have arrived but the others havent.

im growing some Papaya and some G-13 Haze feminized...


OK heres my ? i have two places im thinking of growing in but im not sure what to do.

A. the space is 2'6" x 2' x 8'
i was going to grow like 1-4 plants but flower them sooner.


OR


B. the space is 6' x 2'6" x 8'
and i grow 4-6 plants and flower then later


Im using a 400w mh and HPS light im just trying to figure out the best way to maximize my yield for my first grow and i know they say the lights area is around 4' x 4'


also how many plants should i germ bc i dont want to germ to many and not have enough space


and what size carbon filter should i look for?

obv. go for the larger space. even if you don't pack it full of plants. much easier to work with when you have xtra space. and your 400w hps will be perfect for this size space. as for a filter i would find the DIY on here for a carbon filter.

Definitely go for the bigger space, o and the coverage area for a 400w is closer to 3x3. Just germinate a few of the G13 for now seeing as there feminized, how papaya did you get?

you can get more then just 6 plants in there to

I vote B but with a twist you should put both lights in that area using conversion bulbs so 2 MH and then 2 HPS so lots of bud , just air cool the lights and heat shouldn't be too much of a problem

Maybe try germin 3-5 of the papayas for now, I suppose its gonna end up being up to you on how many.

Yeah B is the best choice.

How about only 2 seeds of each and learning from your mistakes. Then once you got a grow under you belt repeat the process. By the time you run out of seeds you will be growing some good stuff.

Thankx everyone for your input ive been putting some thought into it and ive came to the conclusion that the bigger space is to accessible to the public...also its close to a water heater and circuit breaker so it could easily be found...


So im going with the room thats 2'6"Lx2'Wx8'H...



I think im going to try for 2 or 3 females and try to grow them big ....


germ like 4 and see what happens...
im going to use 5 gallon pots trying to find square ones to better fit space....and im using FF OF soil....

anyone have anymore suggestions...or things to look out for
