Was wondering what everyone uses to line their floors with? I have some carpeting I don't want to ruin. Plastic? Tarps? Pond liner? Any other ideas? Cheers!!

go to a floor wharehouse and get linolium remnent piece its to small for a big job to big to throw away they will usualy give you a good deal and it will last longer than plastic cause you will slide the pots around and rip plastic.

Get the $4 painters drop sheets about 3m x 2m , you can replace it each grow and use saucers .

Panda film works pretty well. Pond liner would protect the carpet better. I know several people that just pull the carpet up and put it in storage and cover the bare floor with plywood and then poly sheets/panda film.

WORD^^^^^^

Perhaps a tarp on top of the pond liner so it doesn't get ripped, but getting the carpet out of the way removes all risk.
