My 2 cents worth. Get old legacy hps lamp and transformer ballast, finish run. Then put 300-400 to diy cob setup at your convenience. Then keep old hps setup for situations just like this...just saying.

I grow in a closet full of clothes,books and other flammable objects. It is about 4'x6'x7' it would be smoking fucking hot. I run LEDs because of the safety and the temperatures.

I started 4 years ago with various led purchases under my belt, or into my wallet. Anyway if I was near you I would give you something to get you through. Since going with cobs I don't even think of keeping spare parts. But I did set my area up in 4 zones 4 drivers. 2 years no maintenance except wiping the les surface. There is much info on here from actual vendors who sell lights and diy parts. Read a while.

Yeap I got my pro-grow from Hydroponics Hut it worked decent for me. I had a Blackstar before that,it will be nice to see what a quality light will do to my plant!!

This is really good here you get 5 cobs/reflectors 250 watts at 1.4 mA with the dimmer already made $499.

You might be able to get all that for a few bucks less or more....depends on shipping for the parts.
But for all those parts at $100 a cob with dimmed driver, heatsink and reflector is pretty good.
The only thing you have to do is make a frame to hold it as it's ready to go wiring and all...
