My 2 cents worth. Get old legacy hps lamp and transformer ballast, finish run. Then put 300-400 to diy cob setup at your convenience. Then keep old hps setup for situations just like this...just saying.I'm right in the middle flowering and my L.E.D. lost half of the lights. So now my Grow Pro went from a 180 to a 90. I grow one plant at a time. What is the best light for my situation between 300 - 400 dollars. Thanks
I grow in a closet full of clothes, books and other flammable objects. It is about 4'x6'x7' it would be smoking fucking hot. I run LEDs because of the safety and the temperatures. My 2 cents worth. With timber grow lights you'd get 4 CXB 3590 for $400. So if you can hang them with strings or make a frame that's most light for your money. They're DIY but it's like putting together legos so......too easy
he was looking to spend $3-400 so the 4 cob kit from timber is the best unless he comes up with extra cash them yeah more cobs the better. This is really good here you get 5 cobs/reflectors 250 watts at 1.4 mA with the dimmer already made $499.

You might be able to get all that for a few bucks less or more....depends on shipping for the parts.
But for all those parts at $100 a cob with dimmed driver, heatsink and reflector is pretty good.
The only thing you have to do is make a frame to hold it as it's ready to go wiring and all...
You gotta check this out. A side by side with my HH X5-500 getting totally spanked.Yeap I got my pro-grow from Hydroponics Hut it worked decent for me. I had a Blackstar before that,it will be nice to see what a quality light will do to my plant!!
