Grow Light Height Question

Okay so I want to grow a GG#4 feminized photoperiod however im not sure how tall they grow. Also, im not sure if i'll have space to hand my lights 24 inches away because my tent is only 80 inches tall. I could upgrade to a gorilla grow tent with the 1ft extension if need be but im not sure if that necessary. Is there a way to effect the height of the strain? I assume that a shorter veg time results in a shorter plant but i'm not 100% certain that that is how it works.

Should I get the Gorrilla Tent with the 1ft ext or should I just manipulate my veg time to shorten the plants final flower height?

Couldn’t you just bend and tie it if it gets a little too stretchy? 6’8” is good amount of height to work with.

Im a new grower... I haven't even started I should say i'm just getting the equipment together.

To manipulate my plants I can use screen of green to spread out the canopy correct?

and a shorter veg time will shorten it out correct?

and a quick google search told me that this strain grows to 80 inches my exact limit if i dont get the extension

I could generate the extra inches I need by SCROG and shorter veg time right?

I've grown advertised tall strains in my minifridge with 28" of height. All it takes is training, i actually vegged longer in the fridge than i do in my tent.
Pot size is probably the best way to control height/size
