Grow Journal - XXX Diesel - DWC - CFL - 1 from Clone

This grow also currently includes LST, supercropping, Hydroguard, and Advanced Nutrients Micro, Grow and Bloom.

Lights are 3 23w Daylight bulbs, 3 30w Daylight bulbs, 3 42w Warm light bulbs for 285 watts. This grow was started on January 10th, 2015.

This was the plant on the first day:


At that time she was fed about 1/4 mL per nutrient in the roughly 4 gallons of water. There was no Hydroguard, and pH was kept at 5.5-6.0. The res was changed weekly.

This was the plant 01/25/2015. Everything was roughly the same. Shortly after this picture root rot set in.


The root rot was treated by removing the majority of the affected roots, removing a large amount of the plant's foliage, soaking the entire system in H202, soaking the lower part of the plant in H202, and replanting lower in the net pot. Aquashield was used from then on.

This was the plant 02/08/2015, a week or two later:


LST began 02/11/2015. Nutrients were about 1/2 tsp of each, everything else was the same. Res temperatures range from 68-72 degrees Fahrenheit .

02/20/2015:


LST was continued, nutrients were increased to 3/4 tsp each.

02/27/2015:


Side shoots were also being LST'd, and supercropping began on some of the higher shoots.

03/04/2015:



Additional lighting was added 03/05/2015.

The last res change was 03/07/2015. The pH was 6.0 and 1 1/4 of each nutrient was added. Hydroguard at 2 tsp. Supercropping, and LST continues and the reservoir is topped off with tap water each morning/evening.

PPM tracking started 03/09/2015, and nutrients are added daily. PPM is slowly being increased.

Thanks Jugz . I'm not sure on yield, first grow. I'd be happy with 1-2oz but with any luck hopefully I'll yield more.

Not much has changed except moving to 12/12. Supercropping probably won't happen anymore. LST will continue as needed. Temperatures are getting higher in the grow room as well as res because of warmer outside temperatures as well as moving the grow box into a closet to maintain a consistent 12 hours of darkness - worried about light penetration when it's out in the room both from the window and from general electronics. Trading higher temperatures for uninterrupted 12 hours of darkness.

Hello to all you that are reading this. I was holding off on an update since not much has really changed since flower started. It's just the first week so...

Looking at the notes the pH has drifted between 5.5 and 5.8, typically falling, over the last several days, while PPM hit a peak of ~550 and has since drifted between 450 and 350. LST continues as needed, sometimes she's pulled from the side other times she's pulled down.

I've attached a picture of the plant from 03/20/15 and a picture of the roots from 03/21/15.

And here is a picture of the plant from just before lights off today, 03/26/15:

Hey KillsPlants thanks man, I appreciate it. I feel like this plant would have benefited a lot from better lighting, but given the circumstances I am pretty happy with it so far.

And yep Dooly those little flowers came out of nowhere in just the first few weeks of flowering
