After some long and tedious process of optimizing my cloning process and setup, I was able to root and plant two Northern Lights off the mother I currently have in flower. In addition, there are two clones picked up from a collective (now closed down), one Blue Dream and one Trainwreck.

(photo order: NL clone, NL in soil, Blue Dream, Trainwreck) will update soon, these pics are a few weeks old

Since there's interest I will post the pics of my newest clones... two NL. Once was from while the mother was flowering, because I was afraid the others wouldn't root, but turns out I got em all to root! Just took a while... my setup is pretty minimal and low budget, just a heating pad on a hard back book and a plastic pitcher top, and a dvd tower case cover. Sometimes I use a piece of closepin to create an air opening near the bottom. Cloning with Rapid Rooter plugs, and Clonex rooting compound.

Its been a while since I posted new pics... I guess I was just trying to dedicate most of my attention to finishing the last grow. But now I put all the clones into the flowering room and gave them all proper transplants into 5g pots. New pics soon...

In total, now I have 2 Blue Dreams (cloned one more), 1 Train Wreck, and 2 NL clones

Here are the pics of the ladies... Also of notable difference, is I changed bulbs as the HPS bulb I had was starting to die on me. I checked my ballast, and while at the time of purchase I had no idea what I was doing I realized I have a 600w ballast and they just happened to give me a 400w bulb. So my new 600w Agrosun bulb is now in there, which will explain the yellow tint on all the images. I think the girls are stoked on the new light and their recent transplants...

In Order: Trainwreck, Blue Dream, Blue Dream Clone, NL Clones

Looks great-- what nutes are you using?

I ask because the purple stems on one of 'em is a sign of P deficiency/ lockout, or high PH. Just wondering!

Just starting using some flowering nutes at the moment, mostly fox farm. Actually the purple on the NL is because she outgrew the veg cabinet for a few days and got less light than she wanted.... those NL's are fast growers! also, when distressed a little can purple on the stems... she's better now though
