Grow Dots Anyone?

Yeah. I’m a patron on the side site. I get 30% off on all grow dots and recharge. Plus free seeds. That I prolly won’t sprout anytime soon because of current projects. And they’re mostly regs. But I trust grow dots as a single nute and no need for anything else other than water. Which I like the sound of. And for me tryin coco for the first time. I’m all for the “cheating” method for premium bud. Lol.
I'm not a patron or anything but I occasionally watch the podcasts. Sometimes the easy way isn't the best way but one huge enormous advantage I can see with this is the potential benefit for people who use automated irrigation or systems like the AutoPots. Plain water won't clog lines or salt up!

similar to OC+?
Grow dots is similar to oc+ in that they are both dry ferts. That’s it.
Oc+ uses temp to release. And it releases everything.
Grow dots uses moisture to release, and it releases nitrogen first, then 3-4 weeks later releases p+k
Nothing like one shot, as one shot is more natural, and has zero k.
Growdots is not for everyone, but for those who wish to grow good bud easily, it’s great for them.
I’ve had the best fade ever with Growdots

Anyone try these with a self watering setup like AC infinity or blumate ?
I'm actually building a system similar to octopots. I'm still getting pieces so still going to be a minute. I've heard of others using Blumats in just afraid of flooding my back bedroom

I just transplanted a couple coco plants on AC infinity self watering with grow dots. I Watered from the top once and and filled the watering system im just leave it at that. Roots obviously haven't reached the bottom but I'm sure it won't take more than a couple days for them to reach. We'll see how it goes.

Seems rather expensive dry nutrients are supposed to be cheap if you know how to mix them. I would never pay for that. You can buy 50 pound bags dirt cheap and just mix it all your self. And sell the remainder to your buddies at 10 percent of the cost or less

Possible, but not all of us have the room, time, knowledge, or inclination to mix a ton of soil. I personally don't know enough other growers to disperse large amounts of soil. Is it going to give you the best possible expression of the plant, probably not. What it will do is take the chemistry out of feeding coco grown cannabis.

Also, it's not for everybody. Some love the measuring, and mixing, and storing. Grow Dots are for the lazy grower.

I was talking about mixing nutes flnd making your own. I just get raw materials from my local farm supply. I could buy it by the tonne if I wanted. But 50 pound bags are far more than enough. Just mix by weight and use a low salt index blend.

I'm trying them out to see if I can save the time it takes to mix, ph and feed coco. If this method works well I'll switch my whole room to it. Plain water in coco once every 3-4 days sounds amazing.

I don't mean to sound like a salesman, I'm not(thankfully) but between the Grow Dots and Recharge, I'm in my grow looking at my plants, not trying to balance Ph, or forgetting what I've already added, or really screwing it up and gelling a rez cause I added silica at the wrong time. There is so much minutiae that can really impact your grow, these just eliminate a lot of human error.

Have you had a complete grow with the dots? I haven't heard too many success stories yet.
