Grow box with monitoring and remote control system

Would you get a grow box like this for yourself?

Thanks! What do you mean by 'cool water', how many degrees? Up to what temperature of water a plant could die?

The concern is not boiling the roots from warm temps it's causing root slime a fungal infection common in warmer temps of hydro

Exactly warm water allows bad bacteria to grow and causes funk. The water needs to be cooled to around 65-68 degrees F. Also sitting water would need to be aerated with some type of bubbler or it may become stagnant. My advise would be research or grow a tomato plant hydroponically so you get some kind of experience, you'll learn really quick what a plant is gonna require.

That's good to know!
For the irrigation, we are using a pump which goes through some tubes and inject water in jet into the roots. Excess water will fall back in to the water tank. So water is moving around, not always sitting still. Is that enough? Or we still need to aerate it?
We tried the grow box with basilic and mint that way and it works fine.

If there is what i would call violent flow of water then no need for a aerator but if the water is trickling and not really picking up any oxygen you are gonna need an aerator. The oxygen from the aerator also helps the plant grow. Without oxygen the plant may eventually become sick, stop all growth and die. Essentially you are drowning the plant. This may not be the case in your system, adding a cheap air pump might show an increase in growth however

Where would you put such boxes in your place? living room, kitchen, or in the basement?
 
I think you could put it anywhere it fits in... I didn't see an outside photo of the box but I mean if it looks like a metal filing cabinet i probably wouldn't put it in my kitchen, living room, dining room. If you made them visually appealing towards a certain area of a house then sure put it anywhere. I would still be concerned with the fact that weed stinks especially in flower and i wouldn't be too sure on a way to keep the stink down especially in a high traffic area of a house. Also would need to worry about noise and light leaks. "Hey bob your piece of furniture in the corner is humming, had some light coming out of it and smells like dankness" lol just things to think about not trying to give ya a hard time.
 
Baement or garage is where most people would want to put something like this just because friends, family, neighbors don't generally visit these areas of the house too often.
 
OP, have you done any market research for something like this? I can see it being popular in the cannabis community but that's about it. I don't think anyone will spend a huge amount of money on a stealthed grow box for something they can legally grow in their kitchen window. That being said I know there's a lot of these stealth grow rooms for sale, but I have hardly seen any fully automated ones.

Thanks for the suggestions! I don't think there would be light licking out of the box.
We are thinking of putting carbon filters to get rid of stinking smell. But I heard that they don't work so well. Is it true?

We actually didn't create the box for stealth grow purposes. We just wanted to help people grow plants which are hard to grow in their climate zone. We are looking for the right market, and it happens that our grow box could bring a solution to the cannabis community. :)

Carbon filter works but have to change them often. You also have to noise proof the unit
