For those of us across the pond, that's 3'10" x 3'10" x 5'9"

That's plenty of space for 4 plants. Your height may be a problem, but it depends on the strain and your growing method. If you've got to have space for a reservior below and a charcoal filter above, you may want to go another .3m tall.

its just a standard soil grow so won't need space for that...i'm going to try to squeeze the plants into 1m X 1m X 1.9m (3.3f X 3.3f X 5.9f)...u reckon that will be cool?thanks for the help very stoked...will just provide lots of ventilation...please read my initial post at the top of this thread and comment on the lighting and let me know if that will be suffecient...

400 will work. I would still suggest an air-cooled hood. Line the walls with panda film and make sure you have plenty of air-flow. What are you going to do about odor?

The key is: fresh air! A small inline 4" duct fan on your fresh air intake is recommended. It's not mandatory though if you've got good negative pressure created by the exhaust. Either way, you want a good source of fresh air. If you've got a fan on the intake, another fan sucking air through the filter and through the hood . . . that's perfect. Then add a small oscillating fan inside to mix it all up and you should be golden. That will take care of internal heat and humidity.

4ft x 4ft x 6ft if u have the space, a 4inch intake at the bottom and a 6inch outake at the top(oposite sides)
that will be perfect for 4 plants vegged for 4-5 weeks and if u want to veg a little longer u will still have sufficient space.
remember a good tip is to top ur plants at the 4th or 5th node during veg, this keeps the plants smaller but still produce lots of dank budz. good luck:bigjoint:
